Participants are required to register and submit online the abstracts of their contributions.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
To perform your registration at ISMEC 2018, please fill out the provided Registration form and return it to ismec2018@chim.unifi.it along with a copy of the receipt of the bank transfer made to pay the registration fee.

A discounted early bird registration will be available until April 22nd, 2018.
All payments must be made in euros (€); bank charges must be covered by the participant.

* Junior researchers (master and PhD students, post-doctoral fellows) should send a copy of their student card to the conference secretariat (ismec2018@chim.unifi.it). In the absence of a valid student card, a declaration by a Tutor will be accepted.
# Junior researchers (master and PhD students, post-doctoral fellows) affiliated to the Inorganic Chemistry Division of the Italian Chemical Society will be granted a reduction of the registration fee. They are invited to register by April 22nd 2018 without paying the relevant fee and to indicate their SCI association number in their registration form. The granted reduction will be communicated after April 22nd 2018.

The Registration fee includes:

For participants: attendance to all scientific sessions, conference material, welcome reception, lunches, coffee breaks and the gala dinner.

For accompanying persons: welcome reception and the gala dinner.
After the registration form and payment have been received, the Secretariat will confirm your Registration by e-mail.

CANCELLATION POLICY
A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations received on or before April 30th, 2018.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after April 30th, 2018, but the registered participant can request to transfer her/his registration to a co-author.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Attendance and fee payment certificates: All participants will receive attendance and fee payment certificates, which will be included with the Symposium documents supplied upon registration at the reception desk.
Badges : You will receive a personalized badge when collecting your registration documents. During the Symposium this badge must be clearly visible all time, in order to grant you access to scientific sessions and catering area.
The Italian Military Geographic Institute (IMGI) offers its guests high security standards. Accordingly, you will be asked to show a valid identity document, at the entrance, to receive a security pass allowing access to the congress area. Also this badge must be clearly visible during your stay inside the IMGI.
The official language of ISMEC 2018 will be English.
